I would say it's totally wrong consequently. 5.1dB?? WTF

As you can compare the video reports on each content between
the one played via DDC and the simple uploaded WAV.
This small difference of just 1% normalization and 0.2dB loudness disparity
tells us two audio files are very similar on the RMS.
The file played via DDC has been Normalized 69% - loudness 3.3dB

Actually only 40 points are appeared for DDC but wow! 56 points appeared for original CD(WAV) by Declipper.
Loudness match comparison is good way to realize how the DDC keep under the head room rather than the original.
This, appearing at first glance to be perfectly obvious, is actually what you should know.

ケンリックは44.1kHz/16bit、CD音源であれを実現していることに対して、
96kHz/24bit、ハイレゾ音源だと、だいぶまた条件が違うから、
対抗するなら、できればそれも揃えてもらわないと。

中々検討しているとは思うよ。録音機材やセッティングはおおむねこのままで良いと思う。
ただ、再生音が全域に渡って硬いなという印象。特にアコギが始まるパートやボーカルに艶や伸びやかさを感じにくい。
あと、綺麗なんだけど、どの楽器もボーカルも機械的、画一的に鳴っている感じはある。
たぶん、フォーマットが上位であれば優位と言う単純なことではなくて、
DA変換の品位が違うというか、アンプの余裕度（アナログ的な）が不足しているかな。
一方のケンリックのは、柔らかく伸びるところは伸びていて、アコギのスタッカートとかキレッキレだし、同時に粘りっ気もある。
ボーカルの階調は滑らかで、楽器やボーカルの分離がはっきりしている。
ちなみに、ケンリックの再生するカーペンターズを、さらに再生していたものは、
再生機器もグレードが数段上がったように聞こえるから、再生時の正にオーディオ的なセッティングとかグレードの差なんだと思う。

極力この手の物は全てオフで、出来ればダイレクトモードとかで、信号ラインも最短に。
これらは便利だしさらっと綺麗になる傾向がある反面、生気が失われがちで、リアリティやエネルギー感も後退するから。
