If you had trouble logging onto MapleStory after the gameguard update, please read below:
1. Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts with Notepad and check
if there is a setting for gameguard.
2. If you find any IPs that have a gameguard site at the end of line, delete it.
3. Delete Gameguard folder from your MapleStory client. (If you can not find the client,
right click on short cut of MapleStory and click on Properties. On the Target menu,
you will find where the client is installed)
4. Run MapleStory again and the client will download the latest Gameguard automatically.
After this, you can login and play as normal.
