普通にキャッチできるルーティン・プレイなのにわざとファインプレイに見せるために、
ジャンプして、壁にぶつかるイチローの守備にうんざりしている現地ファンの声だ。
イチローのあざといヤラセ守備はバレバレなのだ。

by bumping into the wall and quinting his eyes. Like he went "All Out" for the ball when it was just a routine play.

Ichiro has become kinda lame.
ところが日本のマスコミは「超美技」「守備で魅せた」「守備で存在感」と大絶賛だから笑える。
そんな報道を真に受けてしまう情報弱者がイチローファンの正体なのだ。

Ichiro Suzuki either alligator-armed it or simply timed his jump poorly and completely whiffed on the ball.
It certainly wasn’t a routine play, but it was catchable based on the fact that he was right there when it hit the wall.
Not exactly the most graceful defensive play you’ll see.
