What is a subject? Subject is originally a grammatical term in English and other Indo-European languages. The subject is basically a noun, which represents the subject of the action or state of affairs indicated by the predicate verb. Action subject. Subject of action.

645 :名無しなのに合格[]:2022/05/19(木) 19:28:42.84 ID:sc3EaeR0 - It is my opinion that in Japanese grammar, a sentence without a subject is a complete state of affairs, rather than the omission of a subject being acceptable. Moreover, I even feel that the sentence is rather unnatural when a subject is added.
For example, the sentence "Are you ready to order?" is complete without the subject "you/customer", and I feel that it would be strange to add a subject.
