literally stamping out patterns of wires less than 50 atoms wide on a substrate. HP Labs
researchers have created patented NIL technology, which has enabled the fabrication of
laboratory prototype circuits with wire widths of 15 nanometers -- about one-third the
dimension of the features in the most advanced circuits that will be commercially available
this year.

K8の性能に胡坐をかいて2001年からコア開発をサボり続けたAMDと違って、Intelの方わ2年で

Well, now word has reached out tender ears that the delayed Tukwila is also having
serious speed problems. It is currently looking like it it will top out at 2.1Ghz, but given
the line's illustrious history, there is still time for this to drop significantly. In any case,
this is a massive drop from what was promised.
