で、結論は
So I tried this last night and it does not work.
The Stora recognised the drive and showed me the serial number etc and size as 2.7TB. It then said it needed to be configured to
work properly. I went through the wizard setting it to JBOD and it did a reboot. When it came back it was still as it was before with
the drive marked as Unused. It also said that it needed to be configured.

FANに異常があるんならさくっと80mmのFAN買ってきて交換だし、MB側に問題あるならSandyBridgeのMBに
交換だからどっちに異常があるか切り分けはしとかなきゃな。

NASが壊れたときにUSB側がオリジナルだと復旧しやすいだろ。
