A book remembering my old days.
I had that "practical English standards, and
struggled to read it, but couldn't finish it.
I remember I wished I were to have finished reading it.
I thought that then I must have been splendidly good at Enlish.
I had an expectation to the book for the bright future waiting for me then.
But, actually, even if I had read and mastered the book completely then,
there wouldn't have been such a bright future, and I was set to read more
difficult study aid books without any thankfulness later when I continued
to study after failing the first opportunities of uni entrance examination.

同格構文があと少し残ってる。この本細かいな。この本を50歳で書いた。
これに先立つ本を37歳で書いてるんだよね。39歳の時から駿台講師。
新・英文解釈体系は、自分自身の不遇への不満のはけ口のように書かれた
尖った本らしい。
