エコモード状態で停止状態からモーターで動き出し、アクセルペダルを踏み込むと、異常に急発進し、アクセルペダルを戻してもさらに加速しようとする。
ブレーキペダルを踏み込むが、進もうとすると１秒ぐらい進んで止まる。
2017年12月22日
悪路の下り坂を走行したところ、突然エンジン回転数が上昇し、ブレーキをかけても進んでしまうようになったため、ギアをＲにして無理矢理止めようとしたところ、ギアがニュートラルに変わって、回転も落ち着いた。
2017年08月21日
駐車場で、停車位置まで残り２ｍのところで突然エンジン回転が一気に上昇したため、急加速をしてブロックとフェンスに衝突した。
ディーラーで検査を受けたところ、アクセル操作は一切していないのにも関わらず、車のデータにアクセルペダルが踏まれている履歴が記録されていた。

2016年10月28日
自宅の駐車場へバックで止める際、８割ほど駐車位置まで車を下げた上で一旦停止をして乗員をおろし、
残りの距離を詰めるためにブレーキを解除したところ、突然車が急発進し、後方へ暴走してブロックに衝突した。
車を戻すためにＤレンジに入れたところ、今度は前方へ急発進し、前方の壁に衝突した。
ディーラーに調査を依頼したところ、すべての工程でブレーキだけを踏んでいたにも関わらず、ブレーキと一緒にアクセルが９８．５％開いていると診断された。
2016年06月04日
駐車場で後退しようとしたら急加速し、民家の壁に激突した。
2016年05月20日
買い物から帰宅後、エンジンを停止して自宅に戻った。
その後、車両の体勢を直すためにエンジンを掛け、ブレーキを踏みＤレンジに入れたところ、突然急加速して、電柱に衝突した。

Unintended acceleration in Toyota vehicles may have been involved in the deaths of 89 people over the past decade, upgrading the number of deaths possibly linked to the massive recalls, the government said Tuesday.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that from 2000 to mid-May, it had received more than 6,200 complaints involving sudden acceleration in Toyota vehicles.
The reports include 89 deaths and 57 injuries over the same period. Previously, 52 deaths had been suspected of being connected to the problem.

The Japanese automaker paid a record $16.4 million fine for its slow response to an accelerator pedal recall and is facing hundreds of state and federal lawsuits.
Toyota said in a statement that it "sympathizes with the individuals and families involved in any accident involving our vehicles.
We are making an all-out effort to ensure our vehicles are safe and we remain committed to investigating reported incidents of unintended acceleration in our vehicles quickly."
The automaker said "many complaints in the NHTSA database, for any manufacturer, lack sufficient detail that could help identify the cause of an accident.
We will continue to work in close partnership with law enforcement agencies and federal regulators with jurisdiction over accident scenes whenever requested."

Toyota's U.S. sales chief, Jim Lentz, told Congress last week that dealers have fixed nearly 3.5 million vehicles under the recall and the company and its dealers have conducted 2,000 inspections of vehicles.
Lentz said there was no evidence that electronics are to blame for the sudden acceleration reports.
NHTSA administrator David Strickland told lawmakers the agency had spoken to nearly 100 vehicle owners who said
they had unintended acceleration following a recall fix but NHTSA had not seen pedal entrapment or sticky accelerators in any vehicles that have been properly repaired.

Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling more than 2 million of its iconic Prius hybrids globally on the risk that a software malfunction could end in a crash.
Of a total of about 2.43 million vehicles affected, 94 percent are the Prius and its derivatives, with the hybrid version of the Auris compact hatchback making up the remainder, Toyota spokesman Jean-Yves Jault said by email Friday.
About 1.25 million of the cars are in Japan and 830,000 in North America, he said. Vehicles in Europe, China and other regions are also affected.

The vehicles in the current recall had been called back before, in February 2014 and July 2015, for a related issue, Jault said.
Shares of Toyota were little changed at the close of trading in Tokyo.
A failsafe mode designed to engage in the event of a hybrid system fault may not kick in because of a software glitch, causing the car to stall, according to a company statement.
If that happens at higher speeds, there is increased risk of a crash. The company had received three reports in Japan related to the issue as of the end of September, but wasn’t aware of any crashes in the country, Jault said.
It’s one of the largest recalls for Toyota unrelated to Takata Corp. airbags or 2009’s unintended acceleration crisis.
In 2016, Toyota also recalled some 2.87 million cars including the Prius for leaky fuel tanks, and a further 1.43 million mainly Prius vehicles for non-Takata airbags.

New data has revealed which cars are the most accident-prone in the UK.
Topping the list as the most accident-prone vehicle was the Toyota Prius which was involved in 11 crashes per every 10,000 Priuses on the road.
There were just over 71,000 registered Toyota Priuses in the UK at the end of 2016, and a total of 787 accidents involving the Japanese hybrid.
Proportionally, the Prius is involved in the highest number of crashes of any vehicle type in the UK, with 111 accidents per 10,000 Priuses.
Coming in second place was the Citroen Saxo with 106 accidents per 10,000 cars and then the BMW 330D with 102 in 10,000.
Despite none of the cars ranking in the top 5 most accident-prone vehicles, Vauxhalls owners found to have the highest accident rate of any other make.
Owners are having 62 accidents per 10,000 Vauxhalls which are higher than Daewoo, Seat, Mitsubishi, and Renault.
There are around 3.6 million Vauxhall cars registered in Britain, among them the second most popular brand in the UK.

Of all the accidents recorded in 2016, close to a quarter (23.94 per cent) involved drivers aged between 26 and 35.
