NYダウ急落、一時1500ドル安 コロナ「第2波」警戒

【ニューヨーク=宮本岳則】11日の米国株式市場では、ダウ工業株30種平均が続落で始まり、
下げ幅は一時、1500ドルを超えた。米国では新型コロナウイルスの感染「第2波」が現実味
を帯びてきた。市場では景気回復の遅れが意識され、投資家がいったんリスク回避に動いた。
ダウ平均は米国東部時間午後12時半時点で2万5700ドル付近で推移した。前日に米連邦公開
市場委員会（FOMC）が雇用回復に時間がかかるとの見通しを示し、銀行や工業製品など景気
動向に左右されやすい銘柄に売りが広がっている。ハイテク株の構成比率が高いナスダック
総合株価指数は前日に最高値を更新していたが、11日は5日ぶりに反落した。
米国株市場は朝方から売り優勢で始まった。アジア・欧州の主要株価指数がほぼ全面安の展
開で、米国株もその流れを引き継いだ。米ジョーンズトレーディングの上場投資信託（ETF）
取引責任者デイブ・ルッツ氏は「FOMCの慎重な経済見通しや、米西部や南部でコロナ感染者
が増えていることが意識されている」と指摘する。

"I should not have been there. My presence in that moment and in that environment
created a perception of the military involved in domestic politics," Milley
said during a prerecorded commencement address to National Defense University.
"As a commissioned uniformed officer, it was a mistake that I have learned from."
The big picture: The president has also clashed with Defense Secretary Mark Esper
on the topic, prompting chatter that he was losing favor with Trump.
"I did know we were going to the church," Esper said last week. "I did not know
a photo op was happening. ... I do everything I can to try to stay apolitical
and to try and stay out of situations that may appear political."

SmileDirectClub. The CEO of T-Mobile, Mike Sievert, was asked on Twitter if Tucker’s

American while in police custody, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll
released on Thursday.
The national survey on June 9-10, shows the public broadly on the side of
Democratic lawmakers, who proposed a series of changes to police departments
(here) in the United States as protesters gathered nationwide to condemn the
death of George Floyd and racism.
The poll (here) conducted online of 1,113 U.S. adults showed bipartisan support
for many of the Democrats' proposals.

レバノン通貨７０％急落、全土で抗議デモ激化

レバノン・ベイルート（ＣＮＮ） レバノンで通貨の急落が続く中、首都ベイルートなど
複数の大都市で１１日、反政府デモが激化した。
首都ベイルートでは、デモ隊が軍の部隊に対して石を投げつけたり、首相府前の防護柵を
よじ登ろうとしたりした。経済を急激に悪化させた責任は政治エリートにあるとして、抗
議の声を上げている。
首都の北部と南部では、デモ隊がタイヤを燃やして湾岸の幹線道路を封鎖した。イスラム
教シーア派組織ヒズボラが拠点とする首都南部の地域など、めったにデモが起こらない地
域でも抗議デモが展開された。
北部の都市トリポリでは、デモ隊が軍を狙って石を投げたり、市の中央銀行のオフィスに
火炎瓶を投げつけたりした。南部のサイダやナバティフでも抗議デモが勃発した。
レバノンの通貨はここ数日で急落しており、１０月以来、約７０％下落した。必需品を輸
出に頼る同国の通貨急落はパニック状態を引き起こし、この数カ月の間に食料品価格は急
騰、大量解雇や事業閉鎖が相次いでいる。世銀の予想では、２０２０年のレバノンの貧困
率はほぼ５０％に達する見通し。
レバノンのハッサン・ディアブ首相率いる政権は、発足からまだ１００日ほどしかたって
いない。デモ参加者は、政府が経済対策を怠っていると非難する。
レバノンでは昨年１０月、腐敗に対する抗議デモが全土に広がって、当時のハリリ首相が
辞任に追い込まれた。その後も生活状態の急激な悪化や腐敗の蔓延に抗議するデモが各地
で続いていた。
