I am confident that this is perfectly reasonable, can justify Mr. President's judgment, and can persuade many people.
How about Mr. President also expressing his judgment as a policy?
It is very unfortunate that the great and wise judgments so far have been recognized as the president's whim.
The Middle East threats such as IS is a “made threat” in a sense and can be controlled to some extent.
And as Mr. President said that the United States no longer have not bought oil from the Middle East,
there is no merit to send the US army to the Middle East except for protecting the Middle East allies.
It is more reasonable for the Middle East version of NATO in terms of economic and military burden
On the other hand, China and Russia are threats that the United States cannot control. I read that Russia took a fairly advanced military action,
including space-related elements, such as disabling satellites from functioning when they controlled Crimea.
Can the current US military do more advanced military control?
